AND TO MERIT A GOOD EYE, WHEN SEEING THE SUCCESS OF OUR FRIENDS “Hatftara Lech Lecha” “Loving Friends” “Man will help his friend and to his brother he will say, ‘be strong’!” Master of the world, Who can do anything, in the merit of the Haftara of Lech Lecha, may we merit Hashem, our G-d, to help and to support each other, and to not look for lackings in our friend, or to try to bring them down, G-d forbid. And we should not have any jealousy or ‘evil eye’ about the success of our friends. Rather, the opposite, we should encourage our friend.
