All the Details about the Trip to Meron for Lag BâOmer 5783 with Shuvu Banim
Shuvu Banim and Nechamat Tzion Institutions invite the whole Jewish people to take part in the Hilulah celebration of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai on Lag BâOmer with our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlitâa
The bonfire lighting event on Har Meron will take place in area 89 â the community areas close to the Meron intersection. The event will begin at 2 am at night, with the bonfire lighting in honor of Rashbi, singing, dancing, and Chalaka celebrations for children. The Shacharit prayer will be at dawn.
Below are all the details for the trip to Meron:
In accordance with the guidelines for Meron Lag BâOmer 5783, every traveler to Meron is required to purchase a ticket in advance which will serve as a travel ticket. The sale of tickets, which began last Thursday, 6 Iyar, is through telephone number *2111 or through the central registration site here. Take note that also those travelling in a private car by way of the Elifelet car park need to purchase tickets as well.
With Godâs help, a limited number of tickets were allotted to the community of Shuvu Banim. The buses will be Mehadrin (separation between men and women), and are scheduled to leave on Lag BâOmer at 10 pm from Jerusalem. It is possible to register on the âSimchat Rashbi â Shuvu Banimâ hotline at *6148.
To those purchasing tickets by way of the Transportation Ministry: The hours that Shuvu Banim will stay at Har Meron will be from 2 am until 7 pm in the morning after praying vatikin (at dawn) together with the Rav shlitâa. The buses of Shuvu Banim will park near the community areas, and will return to Jerusalem after Shacharit.
