As is tradition and in the spirit of purity that flows during the days of Hanukkah, the youth group continued to uphold the holy fire battle at the call of the tzaddik "Who is for Hashem, come to me," standing against the culture of Greece in our generation, namely the technological tools that corrupt the pure neshamah. This year too, Hanukkah 5786, the grand event of the Hanukkah gathering by the youth group of the Shuvu Banim community took place.
This year's gathering was held under the theme "Building for Generations." In a special booklet released by the supervisors, the importance of signing for another year of the cherished youth group members in inner holiness was explained with good taste and understanding, in their commitment before our teacher the rabbi shlit"a to abstain from destructive tools.
As every year, this gathering took place in the 'Karl Netter' auditorium in the Shimon HaTzaddik neighborhood in Jerusalem. On Thursday night, the fifth night of Hanukkah.
Even before the gates were opened, crowds of young men thronged the entrance to the hall. Exactly at 19:30, the gates opened to the sound of the orchestra conducted by the singer R' Natan Marian, may he be well. The event was opened by R' Shimon Nachman Rabinowitz, may he be well, who lost his son in the measles epidemic. R' Nachman Shimon spoke with unimaginable emotional strength. For over an hour, he captivated hundreds of young men with strengthening emunah and bitachon in Hashem, with the clear knowledge that nothing bad descends from heaven.
After the strengthening and awakening words, the active leader, head of the youth group R' Nachman Haas, may he be well, spoke with sweet speech and sharp language about the importance of signing this year in inner holiness, that the signing is a building for generations, not only for the young man himself but for all the generations that will come after him.
With the conclusion of the awakening words, R' Nachman Haas began a powerful song together with hundreds of young men accompanied by the orchestra, in preparation for the arrival of our teacher the rabbi shlit"a.
Around 22:30, our teacher the rabbi shlit"a appeared in his holy splendor at the grand event. It is important to note that despite the medical treatments our teacher the rabbi undergoes daily, he insisted on attending the event with supreme self-sacrifice.
The emotional melodies intensified with greater strength, our teacher the rabbi shlit"a together with hundreds of young men in immense devotion cried from their pure hearts; "And from the remaining jars, a miracle was made for the roses." And in every young man's heart, the cry is heard "Father! I wish to be among those remaining, from the pure oil that the impurity of Greece did not touch at all!"
At the conclusion of the powerful singing, our teacher the rabbi shlit"a delivered his holy address, words of the living God in the flame of holy fire emanating from the hearts of Israel and piercing like an arrow into the hearts of hundreds of pure young men.
At the conclusion of the holy address, over 600 young men of the group had the merit to pass before the holy presence and receive the 'Hanukkah gelt' from his holy hands. The joy on the tzaddik's face was unmistakable as he saw hundreds of pure young men pass before him. And here, for the first time, an unprecedented event occurred; the rabbi shlit"a remained and distributed to over 600 young men, despite his great weakness, one more young man and another until the last coin, the rabbi did not relent!
With the conclusion of the coin distribution, the rabbi shlit"a rose from his place to the song "Light is sown for the tzaddik" and returned to his holy abode. Hundreds of young men burst into dances over the immense merit that this year too they had the participation of our teacher the rabbi shlit"a at the grand event.
After about half an hour of joyous dancing, the amusing part of the gathering arrived with the 'clicker' program and questions that brought many smiles to the young men's faces. In the middle of the program, an equally amusing presentation was held. The gathering concluded with a gift distribution to each young man.
The gathering ended only at 02:30 in the early morning when hundreds of young men left the event with a strong impression. With one decision: "Signing and building for generations."
With this decision, they hurried to the forests to cry out and plead before Him, may He be blessed, to grant them salvation from the days of the wicked Greece that threatens to drown every pure and clean Jewish neshamah in the abomination of the internet.
