Bnei Binah ◇ Chanukah Preparation Gathering for 'The Association of Avrechim' with the Participation of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Illuminating the Darkness: Chanukah Preparation Gathering for "The Association of Avrechim by the Institutions of Shuvu Banim" with the participation of our teacher Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Hundreds of avrechim merited on Thursday night, the light of the 22nd of Kislev, Parshat Vayeitzei, to gather together in a Chanukah preparation gathering, with the tzaddik who calls 'Whoever is for Hashem, come to me', who subdues the renewed Greek klipah.

After the evening prayer with our teacher the Rav shlit"a, the multitude of silk avrechim of our holy community gathered at the gates of our Beit Midrash. On the chairs was placed a personal bag for each and every avrech, containing food and drink, but above all, olive oil blessed by our teacher the Rav shlit"a, with which the avrechim can light the Chanukiah with the pure oil.
The important gathering was opened by the maggid meisharim, Rabbi Moshe Weinbach shlit"a, who in his unique way inspired the public in preparation for the upcoming Chanukah and the renewed battle against the Greeks in every generation.
Close to 22:30, our teacher the Rav shlit"a entered the gates of our Beit Midrash accompanied by the singing of 'Nafshi Chasfa V'Gam Kaltah...' followed by 'Maoz Tzur', 'U'Minotar' in the well-known Breslov awakening melody. Exactly at the stroke of midnight, they began the recitation of 'Shaarei Tzion'.
Afterwards, our teacher the Rav shlit"a delivered his holy discourse. Here is a summary of the words spoken during the event:

  1. Eliezer Avraham called him "donkey" because if you don't see fire after 120 years with Avraham, then you were a donkey and remained a donkey.
  2. Eliezer was the son of Nimrod and Hagar was the granddaughter of Nimrod. Nimrod did teshuvah.
  3. We opened the yeshiva in 5738. Rabbi Tzanani sat in my house and decided to open a yeshiva. Rabbi Arush arrived, and we began to go to the fields.
  4. A person who comes to a tzaddik must see fire. All the tzaddikim were surrounded by fire! Rabbi Zeira was surrounded by fire.
  5. Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi took the sword of the Angel of Death and jumped into Gan Eden.
  6. Why don't we go with swords on Chanukah as a remembrance of the war? Because the war was for the souls and not for the body.
  7. It was forbidden for Devorah to fight, it is against halacha to fight the leader of the whole world.
  8. Ketzot HaChoshen is a book of ethics! It brings the discussion of the sword that was lent thinking it was cardboard, but it was actually gold. According to the Ketzot, one is exempt from paying for the gold. According to the responses of the Geonim, the sages of Brisk, one must pay for the gold.
  9. Yaakov did not see Yosef for 22 years because whoever said Yosef was sold would die on the spot.
  10. The kollel in the Old City is truly the Holy of Holies, said the Rebbe of Tash.
  11. One must learn with the wife Likutei Halachot from the age of 4.
  12. Bnei Yissaschar asks why Yaakov crossed his hands, couldn't he have asked to switch their places?
  13. Rather, every person has their place. A person thinks they are being moved, there is no such thing! Menashe is the firstborn.
  14. The redemption will come from Menashe because the tribe of Menashe took down Shaul's body from the wall of Beit Shean.
  15. Why does Yosef give a name because he forgot his father "Menashe"? Our Rebbe explains in Torah 97 that he never mentioned he was his father's son, rather he achieved everything on his own.
  16. If they had said Amen to Yosef's dreams, they would all have become kings over the whole world.
  17. On the yahrzeit of Rashbi, Hitler was killed, and on the yahrzeit of Rabbi Elazar his son, Greece surrendered.
  18. A story that brings the sparks of Shimshon that Rabbi Nachman bar Shmuel wanted to understand the secret in Rashi's commentary "Oto Imo Elav", and Rashi appeared to him and explained that the dispute between the brothers and Yosef was a dispute between the angels and the angel Metatron whether to create the world.
  19. Noah was supposed to bring Mashiach ben David as hinted: "Teref B'Fiha" = son of Jesse. Therefore, Canaan did not agree to be the fourth son so that Mashiach would not come.
  20. Rabbi Chanina and Rav Hoshaya would create a calf every Friday evening, and it was not considered a limb from a living animal.
  21. And this is what they say that the brothers ate a limb from a living animal. There are a hundred methods of how it could be that they ate a limb from a living animal. Was it a Ben Pekuah or was it a bird, which according to the Rambam is not considered meat.
  22. The Ishmaelites sold Yosef to the Midianites because they were afraid to deal with him since he was the son of Yaakov.
  23. Pasim is Potiphar. Merchants. Ishmaelites Midianites. Yosef passed through four hands.
