On Monday, the eve of the 5th of Kislev, Parshat Vayetze, an emergency gathering was held at the holy residence of our teacher Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. This was a meeting of the rabbis and young scholars of the holy Breslov "Shuvu Banim" community, due to the great concern for those diligently studying in the tent of Torah.

During this event, the establishment of a new organization "Gav Chazak" was announced, whose role is to stand by the side of the Torah scholars, to strengthen them, accompany them, and illuminate their path in times of concealment.

Even before our teacher the rabbi shlit"a entered, the rabbis gathered and seriously discussed the rumors and increasing tension among some of the young men and scholars. Out of a sense of public and spiritual responsibility, it was unanimously decided to establish an organized body that would provide guidance, support, and direction both from the side of kedushah (holiness) and from practical tools, so that every Torah scholar can continue his spiritual work without confusion and without fear.

When our teacher the rabbi shlit"a entered the event, he delivered a lesson full of light and warmth of emunah (faith). In his words, he emphasized that in a generation close to redemption, where the winds are stormy and hearts seek strengthening, the main stance is to maintain an atmosphere of kedushah (holiness) and continuity in Torah study. The rabbi called on the public to support one another, to reveal the strength of kedushah, and to maintain the frameworks of Torah which have been the heart and soul of the Jewish people for two thousand years.

The rabbi shlit"a noted that the "Gav Chazak" organization will work to provide a supportive shoulder to every young man and scholar, each according to his level and situation, so that he can stand in his kedushah and spiritual path with peace of mind and proper guidance, until the public and legal matters concerning the issue are clarified.
