Grandson and Assistant Speaks about Hospitalization of Rav Berland Shlitâa
TO OUR GRIEF, OUR REBBE RAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLITâA HAS ALREADY BEEN HOSPITALIZED FOR SEVERAL DAYS, WHILE HIS WHOLE FLOCK WAITS AND RAISES ITS EYES IN PRAYER. IN AN IMPORTANT INTERVIEW ON THE BRESLOV INFORMATION LINE (*9148), RAV DOV ZUCKER, THE RAVâS PERSONAL ASSISTANT AND GRANDSON, TELLS ABOUT THE RAVâS STATE. WE BRING THE MAIN POINTS OF HIS INTERVIEW. âAfter additional results of the blood tests arrived, it emerged that the kidney [Ed: the Rav had one kidney removed a few years ago] of the Rav was under much higher pressure than average. In addition to this, the rest of the numbers [from the blood test] really went down significantly, but still stand at around 30 percent above normal. âThe medical staffâs recommendation was to continue with home hospitalization including coming daily to the hospital for tests. Afterwards, the medical staff understood that it wasnât possible to transport a person of this age and state every day to the hospital. Therefore, it was decided that the Rav shlitâa would stay in the hospital over Shabbat. âItâs important to note that on last Tuesday, the community gathered for prayer at the remnant of our Holy Temple [e.g. at the Kotel, the Western Wall], and in truth, on Wednesday, we already saw a noticeable improvement in the state of the Rav shlitâa. âOur Rebbe the Rav shlitâa requested that the community gather again today, on Friday, the eve of Rosh Chodesh Nisan 5782, for the recitation of three Tikkun HaKlaliâs. âWe are all hopeful that the prayers will help, and our Rebbe the Rav shlitâa will be released already by the beginning of next week, the month of Nisan, the month of happiness.â TO HEAR THE FULL INTERVIEW IN HEBREW, CLICK HERE [https://www.shuvubanimint.com/50323/] TO GO TO THE HEBREW PAGE OF THIS ARTICLE.
