These are his words: Whoever really goes right now and wants the Kadosh Baruch Hu, more of a tzaddik, less of a tzaddik, goes up, goes down -- this is not really what matters right now. Because first of all, we don't really know who is going up and who is going down, who is a tzaddik and who isn't a tzaddik.  For the most part, these are delusions, misconceptions, it doesn't go according to what we think. TODAY THE KADOSH BARUCH HU SAYS TO US: "ASK OF ME, TURN TO ME.  I AM YOUR FATHER, I LOVE YOU."  THE KADOSH BARUCH HU DOESN'T WANT THERE TO BE JUDGMENTS IN THE WORLD.  THE KADOSH BARUCH HU WANTS TO BRING THE REDEMPTION WITH MERCY AND WITH KINDNESS -- SIMPLY, YOU NEED TO TURN TO HIM. I HEARD FROM A NUMBER OF TZADDIKIM, ALSO FROM THE RAV [BERLAND SHLIT"A] THAT THERE IS AN ASPECT ACCORDING TO WHICH IT COULD BE THAT WE FULFILLED WHAT WAS REQUIRED BY THE DECREE IN WHAT HAPPENED. There is a side like this, that if the Jewish people will now take all the terrible things that happened, if we take this to arousal, it could be that we fulfilled what was required by the decree. There was a terrible aspect of judgment in what happened.  I heard that the Rav [Berland] said that this sweetened a great deal, a very great deal.  He said that there needed to be some type of terrible decree on the Jewish people and this canceled it. NOW, WHAT IS AFTER THIS?  WE TRULY DON'T KNOW, BUT WHAT WE DO KNOW IS THAT AS LONG AS THE JEWISH PEOPLE ARE AROUSED IN PRAYER, IN REPENTANCE -- FOR THOSE WHO ARE DISTANT [FROM JUDAISM], WHO DON'T KNOW, WE NEED TO  PRAYER FOR THEM THAT THEY MERIT TO WAKE UP, THIS IS IN PRACTICE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. THERE IS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF.  THERE REALLY IS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF -- NOTHING!  A PERSON WHO GOES WITH THE KADOSH BARUCH HU HAS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF -- NOTHING!
