If the Holy Temple is Built, Israel Will Conquer the Whole World – The Daily Inspiration from the Righteous Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a

When a person learns Torah, he controls the whole world – Israel controls the whole world, the whole world fears only the Jews – the daily inspiration from our teacher, the honorable righteous Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a.

Wednesday, 11th of Tevet, 5786 – And this is what Rabbi Shimon ben Lakish said: There are three audacious ones: Israel among the nations, the dog among the animals, and the rooster among the birds. Some say also the goat among the small cattle. Some say also the caper bush among the trees (Beitzah 25b).

These are his holy words:

Indeed, the people of Israel rule the world – it is written in the Gemara Beitzah (Bavli 25b) that those who rule the world are the people of Israel.

The dog is the audacious among the animals, barking all day, Israel is the audacious among the nations, and if there were no Torah, they would conquer the whole world.

They told Cyrus thatif the Holy Temple is built Israel will conquer the whole world, therefore do not let this happen. So they found the permit and not the cancellation, they already started building the Holy Temple, but then they stopped the construction for about eighteen years (Ezra 4:1-6).

Then the sons of Haman, Shimshai and all the others, together with all the scribes who were in Samaria, wrote that now Israel is going to build the Holy Temple, and you will lose control over the world. The Jews will rule over the whole earth, all this is what the Gemara in Beitzah says.

One must know the tractate Beitzah by heart, Rabbi Yisrael Karduner would finish the tractate Beitzah while walking from Tzfat. He would walk on foot from Tzfat to Meron, there were no cars and he did not have a donkey, he would walk for two hours on foot. It is exactly two hours, we once did it running in 45 minutes.

Rabbi Yisrael Karduner would finish the tractate Beitzah on the way from Tzfat to Meron, and another tractate Beitzah on the way back from Meron to Tzfat. One must know the tractate Beitzah by heart, it is all stories.

So the Gemara in Beitzah says that there are three audacious ones, the rooster among the birds, the dog among the animals and Israel among the nations. Also the caper bush is among the audacious of the trees, it produces four types of fruits that are all subject to orlah.

The caper bush is a tree that has four types of fruits, and it is subject to orlah, berries and capers. Also about the dog it is said, "The hire of a harlot and the price of a dog" (Deuteronomy 23:19), if a person inherits a dog, he takes against the dog, this is forbidden in inheritance – if the Torah had not been given to Israel no nation or language could stand against them.

When a person learns Torah, he controls the whole world – Israel controls the whole world, the whole world fears only the Jews.

Everyone fears only the Jews who control the whole world, the people of Israel control the whole world.
