Learning Torah Until Fire Emerges from the Person – Daily Chizzuk

THE DAILY CHIZZUK OF MOREINU HARAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLIT”A, TUESDAY, 4 ADAR-ALEF 5784 DEVORAH, FROM THE DAY SHE WAS BORN, WAS A TOTALLY FIERY FLAME.  FROM THE TIME SHE WAS A BABY, SHE WAS A FIERY FLAME FOR HASHEM YITBARACH.  SHE NEVER GOT MARRIED; SHE ONLY SERVED HASHEM.  HER ENTIRE LIFE WAS ONLY FOR HASHEM. Therefore, Devorah merited to shorten the leg of the letter Kuf, “Then Moshe and the Children of Israel sang this song” (Shemot 15:1), that the Kuf turned into a Heh. Tzedek (justice) and Tzedaka (charity) -- through Tzedaka.  Because Tzedek is judgments; the planet Jupiter (“Tzedek” in Hebrew) is a planet of judgment.  Therefore, Avraham could not have children.  “Who awakened from the east Tzedek” (Yeshayahu 41:2); so that Avraham could have children, the planet Jupiter had to be moved back from west to east.  Now the planet Jupiter shines in the east.  It used to shine in the west. Whoever knows how to move the planet Jupiter, like Metushelach, who moved the sun.  For Avraham said to Nimrod, “Do you know how to move the sun?”  Nimrod said that he created the sun and the moon, like Pharaoh, “Mine is my river, and I have made myself” (Yechezkel 29:3). Then came Devorah the prophetess and she showed that “from the heavens, the stars fought, from their paths they fought with Sisra” (Shoftim 5:20).  She moved all the stars; she negated the order of the constellations. Devorah the prophetess knew how to move all the stars in the universe, because really Yavin, the king of Hatzor, was supposed to win.  About Sisra, it is said “Sisra from Haroshet HaGoyim [a biblical location near Nachal Kishon, mentioned as the residence of Sisra, the head of the army for Yavin, King of Hatzor].  If Sisra would give one shout, he would collapse a wall, “And Sisra shouted” (Shoftim 4:13).  Sisra was giant; he had 900 fish in his beard when he immersed in the Kishon. The work of a person is to be surrounded by fire.  A person needs to learn Torah, and then a flaming fire will emerge from him.  Like it is written on Daf 137 of Chullin, that Rav would learn with Rebbe, and fire would come out. Rav [the student of Rebbe], who was already an Amora, and fire would mamash come out of the mouth of Rav.
