Over the course or Rav Eliezer Berland's exile and persecution, the reknowned kabbalist from Tiveria, Rav Dov Kook, shlita, has frequently spoken out praising Rav Berland, shlita, and helping Am Yisrael to see the bigger picture of what is occurring. In the past, Rav Kook has explained how Rav Berland is a spark of Rabbi Eliezer HaGadol from the Talmud; how everything to do with Rav Berland's exile and incarceration was fundamentally connected to the redemption of Am Israel; and how the spate of hundreds of miraculous fires that broke out in Israel during November 2016 were directly linked to the miscarriage of justice then occurring as Rav Berland was being sentenced for crimes he'd never committed in the Israeli courts. This week, these two giants of Torah met again in Holon, and recited the blessing on the new moon, Kiddush Levana, together.
