Prayer to be Saved From Anger #2
#127
Master of the world, who can do anything, grant me the merit to be saved from anger by me rising to [the spiritual level of] Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon, in the merit of: âThe land is suspended on Blima (nothingness).â
That through âBli (without) Ma (what)â that a person is silent when he is disgraced.
On this it is said âThe ones who are insulted and donât insult, who hear their disgrace and donât respond, act out of love and are happy with suffering, on them it says `And his loved ones are like the sun going out at middayâ, because,
âThe daughter of Tzion will be redeemed in judgment and her captives through charityâ.
And grant me the merit to fulfill what it says in Gemara Gittin 7, âBe silent and wait for Hashem, he will make them fall in multitudes before you.â
Because when a person forgives when he's disgraced he connects [the spiritual levels of] the heels of Leah with the crown of Rachel and then the verse is fulfilled: âOn Edom I will cast my shoeâ, âMelted are the dwellers of Kanaanâ, âAnd he hits the land with the staff of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he kills an evildoer.â
TO MERIT TO BE SAVED FROM ANGER
For one who forgives whenever heâs disgraced, sacrifices his soul for the sanctification of Hashemâs name every second and every moment, and the entire world stands on his merit.
[Please Hashem] help me not feel that they are insulting me or hurting me. And through this, that I should overcome feelings of anger and insult, please grant me the merit to subdue the klipa (spiritual husk) of Edom (51) and Yishmael (457) = 508 in the merit of Serach (508) the daughter of Asher who entered with her body into Gan Eden. Because [the verse says] âG-d becomes angry every dayâ*, but through overcoming anger one mitigates: âG-d becomes angry every dayâ because one who Hashem loves, He sends him insults, as out teacher (Rebbe Nachman of Breslov) said:âI brought for you a gift â machlokes/controversyâ.And through this: âAnd he doesnât ascertain sin in Yaakov and he doesnât see toil in Yisraelâ and through this, One G-d = 13, let me merit miracles and wonders as in the days of Matisyahu the son of Yochanan Kohen Gadol and fulfill in me the verse:
âBe silent and wait for Hashemâ, âAnd wake up early to the study house and they (your enemies) will be destroyed by themselvesâ.Â
*Meaning there are constantly strict judgements and harsh decrees on the world.====
