Rabbi Berland's Prayer To Be Saved From Famine
*Prayer on the verse in tehilim 105 (part of tikkun haklalli) "Don't touch My anointed one, and do not harm My prophet"*
Master of the World, All Powerful, guard me that I shouldn't speak against tzaddikim, and that I shouldn't harbor even a fleeing thought against tzaddikim.
For "Whoever has thoughts against their Rabbi its as if they have thoughts against the Shechina" (Shulchan Aruch).
For the tzaddikim are the face of the Shechina, and they themselves are the Shechina that descends below ten tefachim and encloths itself within human bodies, but at its source [the tzaddikim] are the essence of the Shechina.
For the souls of tzaddikim are drawn from Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon, therefore the verse continues, "And a famine was brought to the land, every source of bread diminished".
For if G-d forbid, there is no emunah in the tzaddikim, immediately after these evil thoughts comes famine and a lack of bread, drought without rain, as was 7 years in Egypt and in the entire world.
For immediately after the selling of Yosef, Hashem decreed famine on the land for 7 years until they did teshuva.
And then Yosef himself came and canceled the 7 years of famine.
For "Yosef is the supplier for all the people of the land" he sustained all of them when the 70 souls [of Israel] came down to Egypt.
