Rabbi Berland's Prayer To Honor Our Parents With Zeal

TO HONOR OUR PARENTS WITH ZEAL AND TO RECEIVE AWESOME HOLINESS 

Master of the world, who can do anything, grant me the merit to honor my parents with a full heart, with all of my 248 limbs and 365 sinews, with all my Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Chaya, and Yechida. And we should merit to listen to the request of our father and mother, immediately from the first word they say to us, whether it’s to throw out the garbage, to wash the dishes, or to wash the floor. And we should do everything with ultimate zealousness and ultimate speed. And grant us the merit to do everything with the speed of light, and not to let any opportunity to honor our father and mother linger. And in the merit of honoring our father and mother, grant us that such an awesome holiness will come down upon us, the likes of which has never yet come down to the world.

And in the merit of honoring our father and mother grant us that Hashem Himself should choose us, and His Divine Presence should walk before us every second and every moment.
