Prayer to Merit Love of Friends and Baseless Love

Master of the World, Almighty, merit me to love all my friends with ahavas chinam (baseless, unconditional love), a love for its own sake that is not for the sake of receiving a reward. Grant me a love that is within the Da’as (holy intellect), so that I may love the soul of each and every person exactly as it is—as it was hewn from the Kisei HaKavod (Throne of Glory) and cast from Malchus of Atzilus (the Kingdom of the World of Emanation). Through this, may we merit to ascend to the world of Binah (Understanding), whose root is in the Ozen (Ear) of Adam Kadmon (Primordial Man).May I merit to be included, through the love of friends and ahavas chinam, in the root of Keter (Crown) of Adam Kadmon. For by the power of loving one's friends, one merits to serve Hashem "day and night" (the numerical value of which is 177), without eating or drinking, and without any payment or reward. Through this, one merits to enter Gan Eden (Paradise) with their physical body, just like Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi, who merited to study with those afflicted by ra’asan (a contagious disease) without any compensation.
