Prayer to Overcome Enemies
RABBI BERLAND'S PRAYER TO OVERCOME ENEMIES TO OVERCOME ENEMIES Master of the world, who can do anything, may I merit to defeat all my enemies and those that hate me, like David King of Israel said, “you come (3) to me with sword (212) and spear (470) = 1092 and lance”. And may we merit to a mind (48) of holiness, and open for me all the gates (580) of holiness (420) = 1048. Please our G-d (102), and G-d (52) of our fathers (475), “ruling (96) over (100) all the world (151) completely (62) in Your glory (54)” = 1092, fulfil in us the verse, “they will observe Your Sabbaths and even (21) my Temple (454) they will fear (617)” = 1092. Because we rely on and trust only the G-d (31) of our fathers (69) in heaven (692) = 1092. Please, “whoever sits in the refuge above, in the shade of G-d he will dwell”, “You are high above forever Hashem”, “in the upper places (166) You placed (740) Your abode (186)” = 1092. In the merit of Avraham our forefather, peace be upon him, and in the merit (446) of Sarah (505) our matriarch (97) = 1048, and through this may the verse be fulfilled in us, G-d who is One (1), “they (50) bowed (296) and fell (172) and we (121) arose (196) and were encouraged (540)” = 1376.
