In order to strengthen the activists of “Agudat Yisrael – Shuvu Banim” leading up to the Mayoral elections next week, Moreinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit”a arrived at their headquarters on Wednesday evening, 13 Adar I.

Moreinu HaRav Berland shlit”a became very excited to see the activists who couldn’t believe their eyes – “Could it be that Moreinu HaRav shlit”a troubled himself so much in order to come to the headquarters just in order to encourage us…?”  And the answer is indeed “Yes!”  From the Rav’s point of view, this is a matter of life and death. Moreinu HaRav shlit”a encouraged the activists to continue their holy work of convincing Am Yisrael who live in the Holy City to go out and vote for “Gimmel – Agudat Yisrael.”  He again repeated his holy words which have been said a great deal in recent days, that everyone truly wants to awaken and repent, and every Hiloni (secular Jew) wants that in Jerusalem, Shabbat will be observed, only that you need to say to them one word and they already will vote! Afterwards, Moreinu HaRav shlit”a inquired practically into the operations of the headquarters, and was very impressed.  He did not stop encouraging the activists to bring as many votes as possible for Hareidi Judaism in Jerusalem – for “Agudat Yisrael,” “the only [party] which fights for the Shabbat and for Judaism” in his pure language.
