Rav Berland's New Prayer in Light of the Fire at Binyamin’s Tomb

PAINED BY THE FIRE WHICH SEVERELY DAMAGED THE GRAVE OF BINYAMIN HATZADDIK NEAR KFAR SABA, RAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLIT”A WROTE A PRAYER TO SAY AT HIS HOLY TOMB: PRAYER FOR BINYAMIN HATZADDIK (Bava Batra 11a) Ribono Shel Olam – Master of the World, Who can do anything, in the merit of Binyamin HaTzaddik who sustained a woman and her seven sons in a year of drought, and in the merit of this You added 22 years to his life, and he merited to drawn salvation to all the Jewish people, as it is written, “Truth will sprout from the earth, and righteousness will peer from the Heavens,” because “the upper heights will drip righteousness” – ”even the heavens will drip dew,” and [he] merited to “the fruit of the tzaddik is the Tree of Life and a wise man acquires souls,” because through tzedaka (charity), we raise up multitudes of souls from the lowest hell and below it, to the highest levels, until Atik Yomin (the Ancient of Days) and Adam Kadmon, and this is what is said of Devorah the prophetess – “between HaRamah and Beit El,” that she merited to the level of “HaRamah” (245) = Adam Kadmon (245), like Shmuel HaNavi, about whom it is said “he would return to Ramah, because his home was there,” because Shmuel HaNavi, from the day that he was born, already merited to “Ramah” (245) – to immediately be included in Adam Kadmon (245), and through this he merited to return all the Jewish people in repentance, and in the merit of this, he merited to return all the cities which the Philistines had taken, to return them anew to the rock from which they were hewn.
