Residents of central Israel merit to receive chizzuk from one of the students of our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlitâa â Rabbi Mordechai Sofrin shlitâa â in fascinating shiurim in Likutey Halachot and chizzuk in the way of Rabbeinu HaKadosh, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, and in the way of Rav Berland shlitâa.
Every Motzaâei Shabbat, the residents of Rishon Letzion merit to a large Melaveh Malkah together with Rav Sofrin, with songs and a shiur. Likewise, also on Sunday a weekly shiur is held in Rishon Letzion for people who are drawing closer.
On Tuesday, Rav Sofrin goes to Tel Aviv and gives a shiur. Â Likewise, on Wednesday a shiur is held in Nes Tziona.
Participants of the shiurim merited to hear a special shiur from Rav Berland shlitâa at his home this last Monday night, 2 Elul.
In the shiur, the Rav shlitâa began by speaking about the high level of prayer, and about prayer with melody, and to merit to plead like the Leviathan. Afterwards, he spoke about the trip to Uman for Rosh Hashanah, that people need to buy tickets now already, and that there is nothing to fear about the war. Here is a short excerpt from his words:
âThere is no war â there is only Rabbeinu! Everyone needs to buy a ticket; it makes no difference! Itâs possible buy a ticket for Saturday night and to reach Uman. If one leaves on Saturday night, theyâll still manage to reach [there]. They already spoke with the security, spoke with everyoneâŚI spoke now withâŚÂ They spoke with the government, that they will allow traveling to Uman and not to delay [us], that theyâll allow traveling straight [to Uman].  Because there is no curfew, there is nothing, even [though now] there is a curfew and war, they already spoke to all the police and the whole army, that the moment that people will say, âWeâre to Uman,â they will immediately let them pass, without any delays.
âSo weâre saying now that the Tzaddik does everything; the Tzaddik shows that everything is delusions â thereâs no wars, thereâs nothing. Everything is only [what] the Evil One is doing. Like by Moshe Rabbeinu, he [the Evil One] showed them the casket of Moshe Rabbeinu.â
Afterwards, the Rav continued speaking, that the Tzaddik is alive and enduring, also after his passing â that Tzaddikim are called alive even after their passing. After this, the Rav spoke about the great importance of remembering the purpose of man, why he comes to the world, etc. He also added to this the matter of âAvraham was one,â that he shattered all the idols of Nimrod.

Afterwards, the Rav said that one shouldnât despair because of doctors, even if they say that a couple wonât have children. He brought a number of miracle stories from the great sages of the generations, that immediately when the doctors said this, at the exact minute that the doctors said there wonât be children, that the couple immediately conceived children. He also spoke about the delay of punishment, that despite the fact that the flood was supposed to begin on 10 Cheshvan, it only began on 17 Cheshvan in the merit of Metushelach. At the conclusion of the shiur he spoke of the miracle that happened to someone who saved the descendants of Rabbi Yeshayaâla of Kerestir.
