Review and Gallery from Maariv and Reading of Eicha on Tisha BâAv with Râ Berland Shlitâa
Anyone who wants to mourn for the destruction of the Temple and to feel whatâs missing and the true pain of Tisha BâAv knows that they need to come to Kinot and the reading of Megilat Eicha (Lamentations) together with Moreinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlitâa. For many years on Tisha BâAv, we have merited to feel the great mourning of the destruction of the Temple when Moreinu HaRav, in a broken voice, weeps bitterly over the destruction in Kinot and Megilat Eicha. Also this year, 5784, which is 1955 years since the destruction of our holy Temple, we merited to deeply feel the great mourning.
We bring to our readers a review from Maariv and the reading of Megilat Eicha on the night of the fast of Tisha BâAv:
On Monday, the night of Tisha Bâv, Moreinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlitâa came out for Maariv on the balcony of his home at around 8:05 PM and immediately began Kaddish. After Kaddish, before âBarchu,â the Rav shlitâa began to sing the niggun before âBarchu,â and then began Maariv. After the Amidah, Moreinu HaRav shlitâa waited a bit to allow the large crowd that came from all over the country to finish their Amidah. After about a five-minute pause, at around 8:30, Moreinu HaRav began saying the Kaddish thatâs after the Amidah. Afterwards, he sat on a low chair, and after the blessing of the Megilah, he began the reading of Eicha from a kosher Megilah. No eye remained dry as Moreinu HaRav tearfully read the verses lamenting bitterly over the destruction the Temple. After about thirty minutes, at 9:00, Moreinu HaRav began reciting the four Kinot for Tisha BâAv night. In each Kinah, Moreinu HaRav shlitâa began and ended with his pure and stirring voice. After 25 minutes of Kinot said with great arousal, Moreinu HaRav, together with the entire congregation, completed the prayers with âUva LâTzion.â  After âAleinu Leshabeach,â he entered his holy home at 9:25, after an hour and twenty minutes of the Tisha BâAv night prayers.Photo Gallery (courtesy of âBreslov Netzach Netzachimâ):
