Shiur at Home of Rabbi Eliezer Berland Shlitâa for Long-Standing Students
On Wednesday, the night of Rosh Chodesh Marcheshvan, a shiur was held at the home of Moreinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlitâa for the Rabbis of the Shuvu Banim community and long-standing talmidim.

The Torah begins with a story about Shalom Bait (peace in the home) between Adah and Tzilah with Lemech. The first thing is Shalom Bait. We were in Ein HaNetziv. We brought everyone back in teshuva. We went to all the kibbutzim from the south to the north. My brother, Rabbi Yechezkel Berland, was in Moshav Nehora. He just closed his eyes and caused everyone there to do teshuva. Now I comforted Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman on the passing of his brother. He brought all of Migdal HaEmek back in teshuvah. He received the Israel Prize for bringing back criminals and giving chizzuk to felons. The army commanders on Simchat Torah (October 7th) were truly corrupt. They drank champagne the entire night and in the end, when they woke them up in the morning because the fence was breached, they didnât believe the lookouts. In the operation âAm KâLavi â Rising Lionâ there were open miracles against Iran, who already had the atom bomb 13 kilometers underground, and they bombed it. The whole matter is that the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun. The moon is only faith.  The moon is Breslov. In the end, the light of the moon will be seven times the light of the sun. The Baal HaTanya says that one who does not prolong prayer needs to be pushed away with both hands. Rechavam said, âMy father chastised you with sticks, but I will chastise you with scorpions.â âI will give youâŚâ â who says scorpions? Before elections, they say, âI will give you bread for a shekel, chicken for a shekelâŚâ Rather, scorpions is referring to the month of Cheshvan which is the sign of Scorpio - Akrav, which are the letters of AâV KâR (ע"× ×§"ר). AâV is Gemara learning. The month of Cheshvan is only Gemara learning. The women of Israel, out of their tremendous longing for the Temple, would fly in the air and manage to return before the dough would rise and before the sun reached the tops of the fig trees. So Adam HaRishon made the first Shalom Bait, because Adah and Tzilah didnât want to live with Lemech after he murdered his grandfather Kain, and his son Tuval-Kain. After he explained to them that he wasnât culpable because he was blind, Hashem made a sign for him. According to âGilgulei Neshamot,â this was a dog that walked with him. But they refused to have any more children, saying the flood was coming and everyone would be wiped out. Like Chizkiyahu, who said that he didnât want to bring Menashe because he knew he would kill eight million people â a thousand every day over the course of 22 years. In the end, in the merit of his mother Cheftzivah, he merited to do teshuva in his final days.
