The More Arrows Shot at a Person, the More They Merit the Yechidah of the Yechidah | The Yahrzeit of Moharanat from the Teachings of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The holy yahrzeit of Moharanat of Breslov on the 10th of Tevet will fall this year on Tuesday night, the eve of the 10th of Tevet.

As a great preparation for the big day, the yahrzeit when the neshamah (soul) of the tzaddik ascends and brings great light to the world, we bring the words of our teacher, the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, from a lesson given at the yahrzeit of Rabbi Natan of Breslov in 5777.

Now, on the 10th of Tevet, we merit the Yechidah of the Yechidah, which is not merited throughout the year to the "Crown of the Nazir of his brothers."

The 10th of Tevet always falls in Parshat Vayechi except for the years 5761, 5781, 5784, 5801, 5808. Now it's been twenty years that it always falls in Parshat Vayechi, except for the years mentioned: 5761 twenty years, 5781 three years, 5808 seven years, when it will be in Parshat Vayigash. We are now in Parshat Vayechi in "and the crown of the Nazir of his brothers," that Joseph "was embittered and they shot at him and hated him, masters of arrows" (Genesis 49), because they shot arrows at him for twenty-two years, he merited "the crown of the Nazir of his brothers" to the Yechidah of the Yechidah. The more arrows shot at a person, the more they merit the Yechidah of the Yechidah.

Now, the 10th of Tevet is like Yom Kippur. It is written in "Davar Be'ito" and in all the books that it overrides Shabbat, and therefore it never falls on Shabbat, only when the Holy Temple will come, it will also fall on Shabbat, because then it was according to sighting. But now it is arranged that the 10th of Tevet does not fall on Shabbat, because otherwise it would override Shabbat, because it is even greater than Yom Kippur, because now we merit after Chanukah was a seal within a seal, so everyone is sealed in a seal within a seal, so we merit true atonement which is the 10th of Tevet.

Because Tevet, it is written in the "Sefer HaKarnayim" Ma'amar 6 that the month of Tevet is the month of goodness, "you will be buried in a good old age" comes out to Tevet, "you will receive good blessings" is Tevet, that whoever passes away in Tevet or is born in Tevet is assured that he is a son of the World to Come. If a person passes away in Tevet, like the Kotzker, like the Baal HaTanya, like Rabbi Natan, all the tzaddikim, Rav Asher Ze'ev from Tiberias, the rabbi of Tiberias who only supported Rabbi Yisrael Baer, only he brought him into his home, after everyone threw stones and tomatoes at him, for five years they threw at him, he did not go to eat without Yisrael Baer, Yisrael Baer would eat with me, Rav Asher Ze'ev zt"l never ate without a guest.

So now the 10th of Tevet, we are after the seal within a seal, after the seal of the pure olive oil sealed with the seal of the Kohen Gadol, we want the Kohen Gadol to seal us. Rabbi Natan prayed in "Likutei Tefilot" that the Kohen Gadol would seal us, that he would nullify all the decrees in the world for us. No matter how much they disgrace a person, it will never be enough for him, even just for the sin of Adam HaRishon, they need to disgrace him a billion disgraces. King David was Adam HaRishon. The "Aseret Ma'amarot" says David HaMelech in his last years sinned in the last five years, but for what are they chasing him for sixty-five years? He killed Goliath, they are chasing him, for what are they chasing him? There was no claim against him, so he says he is Adam HaRishon.

When a young man passes away at the age of twenty, he passes away at the age of one hundred and twenty, Rabbi Elazar ben Azariah says, "Behold, I am like seventy years old," so he was eighteen, because he completed the fifty years of Shmuel HaNavi, of King Solomon.

Because now on the 10th of Tevet, a Holy Temple of fire needs to descend, and therefore on this very day, it is the greatest day of the year, like Yom Kippur, "on this very day Abraham was circumcised" is Yom Kippur, and then Rashi says he was also born, if he was born he also passed away, because the Gemara says in Rosh Hashanah page 10b according to Rabbi Eliezer it is the 1st of Tishrei and according to Rabbi Yehoshua it is the 1st of Nissan, Rashi says no, "on this very day" is Yom Kippur.

Now we are with the second tablets, now we are receiving the tablets anew, we have all the prayers of Yom Kippur and more than that we are now after the seal within a seal. And on Purim, we will be in the third wall, it is three seals "the wall of Jerusalem will be built," says Rabbi Natan in Eruvin (page 22) "wall of wall," it is a seal within a seal, a wall within a wall, we are in the third wall, which was built by Shimon and Hillel and Rabban Gamliel the Elder, the grandfather, the son, and the grandson, they built.

Because Jacob "resurrection of the dead." Because the tribes merited the resurrection of the dead, and this is what is written in the Zohar page 165, Zohar Shelach Lecha that the gates of the upper Jerusalem, on each gate stands Reuven, Shimon, Levi, Yehuda, and each one needs to enter a gate of fire, because in the future, when they enter above, certainly they need to pass through a gate of fire, but also the lower Jerusalem will spread throughout Jerusalem, and there are ten gates and each gate will be a gate of fire, and Reuven will stand, Mashiach will come and build Jerusalem of precious stones and sapphires, then there will be gates of fire, they will need to pass through gates of fire.

Only someone who had no blemish of the eyes, because all the work is only the blemish of the eyes, Rabbi Natan brings in "Halachot Nezikei Shecheinim" that all the work is only on the blemish of the eyes, because all the teshuvah is in the eyes, all the work is only on the blemish of the eyes, because a person does not see anything, what he sees are demons and spirits, he does not see women, he sees demons and spirits, he only sees the shell that surrounds the skin of the snake.

As it is written in Bechorot "on page 7b that a donkey is born with skin on its face, this skin is permissible to eat. Everyone is born with the skin of a donkey. It is written "in the image a man walked," it is written "in the image of God He created man," in the image a man walked, this is the negative image, the image of the snake. There is the image of a snake, the image of a scorpion, the image of a donkey, of a dog. All the Nazis are images of snakes. After all, each one had seven heads, Rabbi Acha bar Yaakov is written to have knocked off the heads (in Kiddushin 29b), because the yeshiva of Abaye was the gangsters (strong-arm men) who abused a woman, cut her into pieces.

A person does not know what he was in a previous incarnation, what pirate (sea robber), he was what gangster, he was what criminal he was, he cannot know. And this needs to be printed in "Gilgulei Neshamot." In Kiddushin 29b on Rabbi Acha bar Yaakov, that all the yeshiva of Abaye, all his students, they were the gangsters of the hill (the sons of Benjamin who abused the concubine in Gibeah Judges chapter 20), and they only asked for the extradition of three criminals four criminals from the tribe of Benjamin and they did not want, so they annihilated an entire tribe, for one blemish they annihilated the entire tribe of Benjamin.

Ben Oni Rachel sees the Ben Oni the majority of the tribe of Benjamin will be annihilated, and Jacob sees the six hundred that will remain, and among them Saul the son of Kish, who is written "from his shoulders and above" and this is what Michal the daughter of Saul said to David who danced before the Ark of God returning from the Philistines that in life they never saw at my father's heel and thumb, I do not understand what is happening with my husband, he jumps turns, what is going on there? He does it for the honor of the Ark, for the honor of the Ark of the Covenant, to bring simcha (joy) to people.

Because the main simcha (joy) is only through dancing because it is impossible to enter the empty space except through dancing because only David can enter the empty space therefore everyone said Tehillim and the Book of Job the Zohar says on page 199 that Adam HaRishon said the Tehillim, said the Book of Job the moment he was expelled from the Garden of Eden. "In the multitude of my thoughts within me, Your comforts delight my soul," says Pirkei DeRabbi Eliezer 19 that immediately after he was expelled from the Garden of Eden, he said this psalm "in the multitude of my thoughts within me," why am I suddenly expelled from the Garden of Eden, he and Eve fasted almost until the 10th of Tevet.

Today is the shortest day until the 10th of Tevet they still fasted, "on the 10th of Tevet suddenly the light was revealed to them, it was revealed to them that the day begins to lengthen, until the 10th of Tevet the day is still short, ten hours and ten minutes, sunrise at six forty, and sunset at four fifty, ten hours and ten minutes. The miracle is that the sunset is already delayed, so they begin to see a little light. Adam and Eve fasted until the 10th of Tevet, they did not stop fasting, they fasted and cried afterward until they saw that the day really lengthens, even though the sunset already began to lengthen, he made Chanukah.

Chanukah according to Beit Shammai, Chanukah according to Beit Hillel. Because on Chanukah the Rebbe says (Torah 2 Tnina) the "seventy thousand lights" return, therefore the Menorah is seven and seven 343 7x7x7 = Gematria Shem Gimmel why Zechariah returns "I saw and behold a golden Menorah," all of Israel is a golden Menorah, every Jew is a golden Menorah. Rabbi Natan says that it is forbidden to speak about any Jew, every Jew wants to return in teshuvah, only we do not know how to awaken them, it is only through songs and dances, like King David turned and jumped like in the air, and through this, he brought all of Israel to teshuvah, through these dances, that there was no child or girl with bad thoughts, as it is written "our sons are like plants grown in their youth" says that the daughters were like stones and the sons were like trees, there were no bad thoughts.

Because if not, the Holy Temple could not be built. If one has a thought and he enters the Holy Temple, on the spot he will be burned, it cannot be that there is a Holy Temple and there is any thought. Until a person is clean of all thought, the Holy Temple cannot be built, it will be built it will be burned. The thoughts are the fire of Gehinnom. The Rebbe says in Torah 19 that there are seventy chambers burning within the person, but with a little knowledge a person can subdue everything (Torah 8 Tnina section 2 the brain is a partition spread before desire), with a little knowledge (in Torah 72 knowledge is pure all that is released from the trial of desire).

And knowledge cannot be without the "Ketzot HaChoshen." Without learning the "Teshuvot Maharik," about the duchess who loved Israel and nullified the decrees of her husband. Everyone needs to learn "Teshuvah 3" with awe and love, about the duke who obligated them with five thousand red or white coins and the rich gave two thousand five hundred and the rest of the people gave two thousand five hundred, in the end, the duke said I will never return it, I went bankrupt and everyone despaired. It is written in the "Shach" in Siman 358 that there is no such thing as despair, the "Shach" says there is no reality of despair, a person never despairs, even if a ship sinks he does not despair.

But there is halacha and it is also brought in the "Shulchan Aruch" even if a ship sinks and all the property sinks, but what is saved must be announced because the loser did not despair, this is also "Dina deMalchuta," and this is also a good conduct, that there is no such thing as despair, a person can never despair, a person is not capable of despairing, he always hopes he will find it someday, but in the meantime, others have permission to use it. With this, it is written on page 27b in the chapter "Elu Metziot" that they give permission everyone says I lost a hundred dollars, well whoever finds it should use it, I don't know if I will find it, so I will find a thousand, I will take a thousand, it is such a market ordinance.

And in the end, it turned out that they were not talking about a find at all, because scattered fruits are a crown, and scattered money is wisdom, as it is written "in the shadow of wisdom in the shadow of money" (Ecclesiastes 7:12) money comes through wisdom, a person learns Torah then he will have money, he does not learn Torah he will never succeed, neither to gather money nor to work. Because "in the shadow of wisdom in the shadow of money" money comes from learning Torah, if he learns Torah in depth [more than money] and bundles of a baker this is already understanding, that in public domain this is knowledge, until they reach tongues of purple which is the kingdom, where there are the colors.

And bundles of flax are the souls of the wicked, that Cain brings flax, he has no pomegranates, he has no figs, also, he could have asked Abel for a lamb and offered it, but Cain when he was born it was said about him "I have acquired a man with Hashem," says the "Tikkunei Zohar" "I have acquired a man with Hashem," he looked like a semblance of above, because he did not just bring to Hashem, because Cain has five gevurot and three chassadim, and Abel the opposite five chassadim and three gevurot (Sha'ar HaPesukim Bereshit Derush 4). So Abel [-]. Hashem accepts Abel's offering, it does not mean He does not accept Cain's, only the intention is that He says to Cain, you do not sweeten your gevurot.

Because on the contrary to a person who has a greater evil inclination, then he has a harder job, a person who has only chassadim then he has an easier job, so why are you proud of the wicked? Why are you proud of the fact that he has gevurot? Why are you proud of the fact that he fails? So the moment Abel was proud, then he was liable for death, help Cain, help your brother, he has five gevurot and three chassadim, you have five chassadim and three gevurot.

The daughters of Tzelofchad they were all gevurot (Sha'ar HaPesukim Pinchas "And the daughters of Tzelofchad approached" they are five gevurot Choglah, Milcah, and Tirzah sweetened Machlah and Noa not sweetened). And therefore they change the order, because three were gevurot and two were chassadim, therefore they need to change the order, because in the aspect of chassadim even the three were gevurot. And the gevurot need to be sweetened, and Abel needed to help Cain to sweeten the gevurot!
