And therefore it is said "when they drew close before Hashem" -- because they wanted to draw close all the worlds face-to-face, and to elevate all the worlds of Beriyah, Yetzirah, Asiyah to the world of Atzilut. And David came to rectify all of this, and therefore everything that he conquered and took as spoils -- everything he sanctified to Hashem and did not leave for himself anything [2 Divrei HaYamim 18].  And so Yoav, the head of his army, the son of his sister -- Tzeruya, did not take anything for himself.  Rather, everything he distributed to the poor families of Israel, and to the needy families of Israel, until no poor family remained in Israel, and through this he elevated all the worlds to the world of Atzilut face-to-face. And therefore David at first wanted to take Merav -- that she was in the aspect of Leah, and through her there was supposed to be the rectification of all the worlds.  And therefore Merav 252 bat 402 Shaul 337 = 991 = Meshicha [Mashiach/Messiah is Aramaic] 359 ben 52 Yosef 156 Mashiach 358 ben 52 David 14 = 991. And only after Merav was given to Adriel the Mecholati, that he would dance [mecholel] all day, did he [David] agree to take Michal, that she would put on Tefilin, and she was in the aspect of Rachel, and through her, he wanted to bring all the worlds Asiyah Yetzirah Beriyah to the world of Atzilut face-to-face.
