It is written that whoever will live in the time of Mashiach will need the merit to live and to see the miracles and wonders that will be at the very last moment. These four angels symbolize the four directions of the world and the four attributes of Hashem’s conduct – Chesed (Micha’el, right), Gevurah (Gavri’el, left), light and Torah (Uri’el, in front), and healing and salvation (Refa’el, behind).
