There are Going to be Great Miracles – Daily Chizzuk by Rabbi Eliezer Berland Shlit”a

THE DAILY CHIZZUK BY MOREINU HARAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLIT”A THURSDAY, 11 ELUL 5785 These are his holy words: THE HOLY CHARIOT ACCOMPANIES A PERSON FROM THE MOMENT OF HIS BIRTH Everyone needs to see the Ma’aseh HaMerkavah [a mystical experience similar to Yechezkel’s vision in Chapter 1], everyone needs to see: [1]“On my right – Micha’el, on my left – Gavri’el, before me – Uri’el, behind me – Refa’el, and over my head – the Shechinah of God” (from the bedtime Shema). “On my right – Micha’el” – every person needs to know that angels accompany him from the day he is born. According to Rabbi Shimon, two angels accompany him; according to the Tanna Kamma, five angels. After all, the baby is constantly falling (and still he is protected), because angels guard him from the moment he is born. https://vimeo.com/1115676129?fl=pl&fe=sh THE FUTURE REDEMPTION WILL BE FAR GREATER THAN THE REDEMPTION FROM EGYPT It is written: “They will no longer say, ‘As Hashem lives, Who brought up the Children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but rather, ‘from the land of the north and from all the lands…’” (Yirmiyahu 23:7) – in the future redemption, there will yet be such miracles. Now there are going to be such miracles. Now is already the time of the redemption. Now, “Each man will sit under his vine and under his fig tree” (Michah 4:4). “They will no longer say, ‘As Hashem lives, Who brought up the Children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but rather, ‘from the land of the north and from all the lands…’” – now is the revelation of miracles. It is written that whoever will live in the time of Mashiach will need the merit to live and to see the miracles and wonders that will be at the very last moment. Like when I was a child of ten – there wasn’t a single Arab left here. [2]Harry Truman [the U.S. President at the time] said absolutely not. Truman told Ben Gurion, “If you declare a state, it will not last five minutes.” Like what they did now – within five minutes they wiped out 21 kibbutzim. It took five minutes to burn the houses -- they burned everything. == [1]The wording “On my right – Micha’el, on my left – Gavri’el, before me – Uri’el, behind me – Refa’el” already appears in the Siddur of Rav Amram Gaon (9th century) as part of the bedtime Shema, and was later brought also in the Siddur of Rashi and others. These four angels symbolize the four directions of the world and the four attributes of Hashem’s conduct – Chesed (Micha’el, right), Gevurah (Gavri’el, left), light and Torah (Uri’el, in front), and healing and salvation (Refa’el, behind). [2] After the UN vote on November 29, 1947, in favor of the partition plan, the U.S. administration debated whether to continue supporting it, mainly due to opposition from the State Department and concerns over harming relations with Arab countries. Secretary of State George Marshall and the State Department strongly pressured Truman not to recognize a Jewish state. Truman himself leaned toward supporting it, partly for humanitarian reasons after the Holocaust, and also because of personal ties with Zionist leaders in America (such as Edward Jacobson, a childhood friend who persuaded him to meet with Chaim Weizmann).
