Through Rabbi Natan, His Disciple! ◇ The Great Hilula of Moharanat in the World

181 years since the passing of our mighty and glorious teacher, Rabbi Natan of Breslov, the faithful disciple of the light of lights, the flowing stream, the source of wisdom, simcha (joy), and emunah (faith), Rebbe Nachman of Breslov zy"a.
As every year, the "Union of Breslov Chassidim Shuvu Banim in Eretz Yisrael and the world" holds the greatest hilula in the world, attended by thousands from all over the country and the world, led by the tzaddik of our generation, the true disciple, the honorable Gaon and Tzaddik, our teacher Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
The grand event began with the conclusion of the Maariv prayer together with our teacher the Rav shlit"a in our Beit Midrash. Thousands upon thousands flocked and filled the expansive Pavilion halls in the Talpiot neighborhood of the holy city of Jerusalem. Around the tables set with all good things were seen the tzaddik's people from all over the country and the world, from all colors and circles, men, women, and children. All gathered and came to the grand event!
Around 22:30, the gabbai of the Beit Midrash, R' Nachum Haas shlit"a, invited the community rabbis to speak. First, the honorable chassid R' Meir Malka shlit"a opened with words about the greatness of the hilula's owner and encouragement on studying his holy book 'Likutei Halachot'. After him, the kabbalist, the honorable chassid R' Eldad Shmueli shlit"a, spoke. The community rabbis' words were concluded by the influencer, the honorable chassid R' Ofer Erez shlit"a, who explained clearly and brightly about the merit we have in this last generation from the wonderful encouragements of Moharanat zy"a. In their words, the rabbis also strengthened the importance of those who assist and donate to our Beit Midrash, especially for the large expenses of the greatest hilula in the world.
At 23:40, a tremor of intense excitement passed through the hall as the orchestra began singing 'Tzaddik Tzaddik like a palm tree shall flourish, like a cedar in Lebanon shall grow' upon the entrance of our teacher and rabbi, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, to the grand event. For long minutes, the thousands danced in honor of the tzaddik.
Then R' Abba Turtsky took the floor with permission from our teacher the Rav shlit"a. He began with enthusiastic words about the immense importance of supporting the Beit Midrash. As a prelude to his words, he presented twelve holy candles, which would be lit by the first twelve who would merit to be a supportive aid for the enormous expenses of the hilula that fell upon the shoulders of the 'Union' activists. Of course, even as the words were on his lips, the first twelve approached the holy platform with honor, meriting to contribute from their wealth to be true partners in the hilula of our mighty glory under the leadership of our teacher the Rav shlit"a.
After the twelve candles were lit, silence fell over the crowd as our teacher the Rav shlit"a began his holy speech with thunderous voices and a burning fire, speaking of the greatness of the hilula's owner, the rabbi and the disciple, who were given dominion in this world and they subdue the shells of impurity.
For about twenty minutes, our teacher and rabbi shlit"a delivered words of the living God in fiery flames, and immediately upon finishing, he began singing 'Song of Friendship' by R' Yitzchak Breiter hy"d. Truly, how wonderful it was to see the crowd roaring again and again "We will walk in his light, through Rabbi Natan, his disciple." And immediately afterward, the song 'You brought us here, bring us to Uman' with all the awakening verses composed by our teacher the Rav shlit"a in his many yearnings to the distinguished tomb of our holy Rebbe, the hidden tzaddik zy"a. From the crowd, the yearning and longing song 'You brought us here - bring the Rav to Uman' was heard more than once. Of course, following them came the legendary Breslov songs "Uman Uman Rosh Hashanah...", "In you, Rebbe, we will rejoice..." etc.
The singing and immense simcha (joy) over what we merited to know from the tzaddik and to know from his great disciple Moharanat, and moreover, we merited amidst all the darkness and confusion to believe in his successor, who is the tzaddik of our generation, our teacher and rabbi the Rav shlit"a. It left no one without jumping and dancing in joy and jubilation. The dances continued for a long time, only close to 01:30 after midnight did our teacher the Rav shlit"a leave the grand event with the song 'For length of days and years of life they will add to you...'
