Through the Light of Chanukah, Chana Brought Down the Soul of Mashiach – Chanukah by the Esteemed Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

"On Chanukah, a blazing fire erupts that cannot be stopped, a flaming fire that descends from the heavens through the Chanukah candles.

The Rebbe brings in Torah 249: 'Suddenly a person is clothed with a spirit of might' and then he can perform an act of valor, because 'the essence of might is in the heart,' whoever has a strong heart is not afraid of any person in the world."

"There is no fear, no Arabs, nothing exists, he only has 'there is none besides Him,' only Hashem. This spirit can be received on Chanukah as Chana merited, 'Chanukah' is Chana-ka, Chana-Hashem, Chana for Hashem. 'And Chana prayed to Hashem,' she only sees Hashem, she is only attached to Hashem, therefore all of Chanukah is drawn from Chana. Rabbi Natan explains in Choshen Mishpat – all of Chanukah is from the lights of Chana, from the neshamah (soul) of Chana. Chana does not abandon her prayers, her emunah (faith), she does not abandon her emunah in any way in the world."

"From the age of 10, Chana began to pray to merit a tzaddik son and at the age of 130 she was remembered. For 120 years she only prayed to Hashem and succeeded in bringing down the neshamah of Shmuel, who is equal to Moshe and Aharon. Shmuel anointed Shaul and David, and the main thing is David, who is Mashiach, as it is written 'I have prepared a lamp for My anointed.' This is the light of Chanukah, when a person decides to dedicate himself to Hashem, he receives a spirit of strength and might, and with this spirit, he can wage great wars and defeat all the wicked, all the Hellenists, and bring the redemption."

"As Chana merited, through the light of Chanukah, she brought down the soul of Mashiach. 'Chanukah' = Chana-ka, Chana dedicated her life for Hashem, she did everything only for Hashem, she asked for a son only for Hashem. And today, dedicating one's life is simply to sit and learn! It is not to wage war with anyone, it is simply to sit and learn and immerse one's mind in the holy Torah, in the holy Gemara."
