When We Come to Rabbeinu, the Hidden Light is Revealed â Daily Chizzuk by Rabbi Eliezer Berland Shlitâa
THE DAILY CHIZZUK OF OUR REBBE RAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLITâA â âTHE WHOLE PRAYER IS ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF THE SONGSâ FRIDAY, 28 IYAR 5783 â âTHE TIKKUN HAKLALI DRAWS DOWN THE PRIMORDIAL LIGHTâ These are his holy words: THE MAIN THING IS THE SONGS AND THE MELODIES. PEOPLE GO OUTSIDE DURING THE TIME THAT THEY HEAR SONGS â THAT THIS IS, AS IT WERE, EXTRANEOUS. HOWEVER, THE TRUTH IS THAT THE WHOLE PRAYER IS FOR THE SAKE OF THE SONGS. The Rebbe says in [Likutey Moharan] Lesson 64, that through songs it is possible to return the entire world in repentance. You donât even need to speak to them. If a person sings and makes music, then he arouses all the hearts of Israel. Because all the hearts are Godliness. Every Jew is Godliness â âAll Israel has a share in the world to comeâ (Sanhedrin 90a); this is a Mishnah â itâs impossible to change this. âAll Israel has a share in the world to come,â âa shoot of My planting, My handiwork, in which to gloryâ (Yeshaya 60:21). Every Jew is Godliness, every JewâŚÂ It doesnât matter if now he is against religion. All of this is politics; itâs just that now itâs worthwhile for him⌠The heart of everyone burns for Torah. This isnât even a question. THE WORK IS BRINGING DOWN THE PRIMORDIAL LIGHT [OR KADMAâAH]. KING DAVID DRAWS DOWN THE PRIMORDIAL LIGHT â THROUGH THE TIKKUN HAKLALI, WE DRAW THE PRIMORDIAL LIGHT. SAYING THE TIKKUN HAKLALI AT RABBI SHIMON DRAWS DOWN THE FIRST LIGHT â âAND THERE WAS LIGHTâ (BEREISHIT 1:3) â THE HIDDEN LIGHT. Rabbeinu is exactly the numerical value of the hidden light, because Hashem brought down the light of creation, the hidden light, into the body. Therefore, when we come to Rabbeinu, everything is revealed. If a person knows of Rabbeinu, then he will learn Torah 24 hours. He already cannot abandon the holy Torah. The whole task is that a person will not have a connection with anything else. The moment that one knows of Rabbeinu, itâs impossible to sleep or eat. One doesnât need to -- not to eat and not to sleep. Rabbeinu didnât eat in his life. About Moshe Rabbeinu, it is written, âMoshe desired to dwell [vaâyoel]â (Shemot 2:21). What is âvaâyoel â desiredâ? Moshe didnât eat in his life. What, did Moshe suddenly not eat for forty days when he ascended Mount Sinai? From where did he accustom himself to this? From where did he learn this? Until after 120 days of fasting, Moshe revealed the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy, brought down the Second Tablets. Eliyahu HaNavi also wanted to do like Moshe. It is written in the âYad HaMelechâ commentary that Eliyahu HaNavi said that if Moshe fasted and brought down the hidden light, then I will also bring it down. Iâm going to fast now for forty days⌠Fine, heâs going to fast for forty days â he doesnât eat and doesnât drink. But the angel says to him: Eat! Eat! Youâre not Moshe Rabbeinu. You can fast a billion days, not only forty days. You can fast a million days â you will never be Moshe Rabbeinu. This wonât help you, because the primordial light is the hidden light. If Adam had not eaten from the Tree of Knowledge, then he would have had the primordial light. From there, David comes. David receives the primordial light. This is Rabbeinu, who at all times is in Divine favor, face-to-face â âHe will be exalted and become high and exceedingly loftyâ (Yeshaya 52:13). This is Mashiach, who every day sees the infinite light anew.
