Rabbi Eliezer Berland Shlitâa Affixing Mezuzah at Offices of âIchud Breslov Shuvu Banimâ
On Erev Shabbat Kodesh after midday, Moreinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlitâa came down to affix a mezuzah and dedicate the offices of the synagogue that is under his home.
The Rav affixed the mezuzah and gave a brief shiur of eight minutes about the weekly parashah. At the shiurâs conclusion, he made âLeChaimâ and handed out glasses to the gabbai and other synagogue staff.
Some highlights from the shiur:
âNow is the most important of all parashas, âAnd may God give you of the dew of the heavens and of the fatness of the land⌠Nations will serve you, and peoples will prostrate themselves to you,â and regarding this, Esav doesnât forgive. If we hadnât received the blessings, we would have been downtrodden and beaten, and every day there would have been a holocaust, God forbid. But now, all the nations fear the Jewish people, and itâs all in the merit of the blessings of Yitzchak.
âEsav married 'Machalat,' and all his sins were forgiven. When a person marries, all his sins are forgiven, because the wife protects the husband, so that he wonât perform transgressions, wonât make a golden calf, wonât join Korach, like the wife of On ben Pelet.â
