We Are at the End of 400 Years, and From Now On, Only the Jews Will Remain in Israel – Daily Chizzuk

THE DAILY CHIZZUK OF MOREINU HARAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLIT”A – THE RULE OF YISHMAEL IN THE HOLY LAND WAS ONLY WHEN IT WAS DESOLATE WEDNESDAY, 3 KISLEV 5785 These are his holy words: “I will bless her; indeed, I will give you a son through her; I will bless her and she shall give rise to nations; kings of peoples will rise from her” (Bereishit 17:16).  Avraham laughs and says, “What do you mean, to have a child at the age of 100?  To have a child at the age of 90?” HASHEM SAYS TO HIM, “DON’T WORRY, IT WILL BE FINE.”  IN THE END, AVRAHAM SAYS, “YOU KNOW WHAT?  IT’S BETTER TO HAVE ONE BIRD IN HAND THAN TWO BIRDS IN A TREE!” You say that Yitzchak will be born to me?  In another year, you’ll tell me, “Only in another year,” and another year…  In the meantime, it will come to pass, “How shall I know that I will inherit it” (ibid 15:8), because every moment a person sins [and his judgment changes].  Every second, a person blemishes his eyes.  So Avraham said, “I want what I have already, ‘If only Yishmael would live before You’” (ibid 17:18). Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai cries and cries, “Oy to the time when Yishmael was born into the world” (Zohar II, 87a).  Because of four words [in Hebrew], “If only Yishmael would live before You,” we are suffering to this day.  Four words!  Avraham says four words, and as a result, all the petroleum is Yishmael’s.  Kuwait is entirely oil wells.  Doha [the capital of Qatar] is entirely oil wells.  In Iran, it’s all oil wells.  They didn’t blow them up because the oil prices would go up.  Everyone would come here to wipe us out.  Biden doesn’t allow us to blow them up, but Trump said: Blow up whatever you want.  The main thing is to leave me alone.  Let me rest already. In Zohar II, Va’era, Daf 32, it is written that Rabbi Shimon cried.  One needs to cry here.  How could Avraham Avinu have said, “I want something that is certain-certain.  I want for Yishmael to be Mashiach.” Rabbi Shimon cried, “Oy, oy – Woe to the time when Yishmael was born.”  About this, we cry, “Master of the Universe, what’s happening here?  What’s going on here?  What do You have to do with Yishmael?!  Who is Yishmael?!” “And he will be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone, and everyone’s hand against him” (Bereishit 16:12).  He will murder Jews; he already murdered us a million times.  With Esav, we know that there were pogroms against the Jews, but it’s not so well known that with Yishmael, there were pogroms every day, every moment – in Morocco, in every country, in Babylonia, in Iraq.  In every place, [there were] terrible pogroms. Hashem announces to Avraham about Yitzchak: You will have Yitzchak.  But Avraham says, “I want Yishmael.”  Hashem says to him, “Don’t worry.  Hashem works miracles.”  Yishmael just kills Jews all day.  This is what they do.  What they did on Simchat Torah was every day. And Avraham circumcised Yishmael.  Therefore, for 400 years, Yishmael ruled in the Land of Israel, exactly 400 years.  The Turks ruled for 400 years in Israel.  Because today, the true Yishmael is Turkey, and they ruled for 400 years in the Land, from 1517 until 1917.  Whoever learns history [knows] that it was exactly 400 years.  Suleiman the Magnificent built the walls of Jerusalem, because before him, there was no wall. Avraham asks, “What?  Who?  What, Yishmael doesn’t deserve a portion in the Land? [Hashem calms him down by assuring him 400 years in the Land.]  Avraham answers: “Fine, they will have 400 years,” and really, for 400 years they ruled here.  Until Allenby arrived in Israel on Hanukah.  That was a Sunday night.  He entered Jerusalem on Sunday, and before he entered, he got off his horse.  He said, “I won’t enter with a horse.  In no way whatsoever with a horse.”  There were cameras which photographed Allenby getting off his horse and entering Jerusalem through Jaffa Gate on foot.  Then Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld zt”l welcomed him. Exactly 400 years to the moment, to the second, as it is written in the Zohar, that after this, the Kadosh Baruch Hu says that Yishmael would come and rule over the Holy Land when it was desolate. It is written in Gemara Sanhedrin 99, “And you, mountains of Israel, shall give forth your branch and bear your fruit [for My people Israel].”  The moment that the Jewish people arrived, orchards here flourished, the Land flourished, they caused the desolation to flourish.  With the Arabs, everything is total desolation. When they rule over Jerusalem – this is Gog and Magog, but this will only be in another 200 years.  Then the Children of Edom will come – another nation will come; several will come.  There will be three terrible wars: one in Jerusalem, one in Rome -- they will conquer Rome.  “A slaughter to Hashem in Batzrah” – then there will be a war in Batzrah.  President Bush mentioned this when they conquered Iraq, from southern Baghdad.  Before the Americans conquered it, Bush said these verses.  The Israeli government was afraid to say them, but they said them.  The gentiles believe in the bible. “To grasp the corners of the earth – all of this will only be in another 200 or 300 years, because Yishmael prays.  Therefore, he is successful – Yishma – El (God will hear).
