A special shiur was held in the home of our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a for a group of participants in a monthly shiur in the Israeli city of Harish by the Rav’s son, Rav Nachman Berland shlit”a.

Also in the city of Harish, which is becoming more Chareidi, there are people who have recently drawn close to Breslov and to the Rav shlit”a.  A portion of them came to the Rav’s home on the evening of Purim Katan – 14 Adar Alef – for a special shiur by the Rav shlit”a. In the shiur, the Rav spoke about a number of topics: Peace at home, serving G-d with happiness, Purim and more, while infusing his holy words with stories of our Sages from places throughout the Talmud and with secrets of the holy Torah.  Likewise, also participating in the shiur were some of the Rav’s greatest students: Rav Moshe Tzanani, Rav Meir Malka, and Rav Shlomo Elmeliach. To his left can be seen R' Meir Malka.[/caption] One of the participants in the shiur told the Shuvu Banim website that the group began its activities in the city of Harish around a half-year ago.  On a monthly basis, some thirty people who are drawing close to Breslov gather together in the house of one of them to hear words of Torah and Aggadah in the shiur of the Rav’s son, Rav Nachman Berland shlit”a.  He pointed out that although the entire group hadn’t yet merited to draw close to the Rav shlit”a, when they heard that there was a shiur in the home of the Rav, they requested to join in. “We are all hopeful,” said the Kollel student, “that the shiur in the house of our Rebbe the Rav will give momentum to continue and progress more with the activities, such as bringing other Rabbis who are students of the Rav to the city of Harish to bring more Jews close to Rabbeinu HaKadosh and to the way of our Rebbe Rav Berland shlit”a.”
