Six Years Since the Return of Rabbi Eliezer Berland Shlit”a to the Holy Land – Sights and Pictures

“Exult and shout for joy dweller of Zion, for great in your midst in the Holy One of Israel”

After three years of exile in which our Rebbe Rav Berland shlit”a sojourned in Morocco, Zimbabwe, Holland, South Africa, and other countries, at this time six years ago we merited to see the Rav shlit”a return to the Holy Land.

In the flight back, Rav Berland shlit”a prayed with the community on the plane, received members of the community, and with exulted song touched down on holy soil.  Thousands of followers, students, and supporters came to the airport to see Rav Berland shlit”a, and in a special recording the Rav requested that the police officers and public order be respected.

The moment that our Rebbe Rav Berland shlit"a exited the plane, he prostrated himself on holy soil and kissed the holy ground after three straight years of not being in the Holy Land.
