Who Will Subdue Achashverosh? – Daily Chizzuk with Rabbi Eliezer Berland Shlit”a

THE DAILY CHIZZUK WITH MOREINU HARAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLIT”A – MEGILLAT ESTHER WAS SAID WITH RUACH HAKODESH HANNAH WAS A PROPHETESS.  THE ZOHAR SAYS THAT HANNAH AND DEVORAH WERE GREATER THAN MOSHE RABBEINU, BECAUSE MOSHE WOULD WALK WITH THE CLOUDS OF GLORY.  HE ENTERED THE SEA AND THE CLOUD RECEIVED THEM. “VaYisa, VaYavo, VaYet” [the first word of each of the three verses before the splitting of the Red Sea (Shemot 14:19-21)].  “The angel of God who had been going in front of the camp of Israel moved and went behind them.”  It is written, “The angel of God moved… and went behind them.”   The angel of God went behind them and received the catapult stones. Esther is called “the roundness of your flanks” (Shir HaShirim 7:2).  The Rebbe explains in Lesson 10 [of Likutey Moharan] the secret of Queen Esther, that all the miracles were in the merit of Esther. Esther was a reincarnation of Yael, because Yael had to come in order to rectify [what is written:] “Her legs descend to death” (Mishlei 5:5).  It is written, “At her legs he knelt, he fell…vanquished (shadud)”; “shadud” is [the numerical value of the angel] Mem-Tet. For Yael was spiritually impregnated with the angel Mem-Tet.  “Shadud” is “Shad-ai” – 314. The angel Mem-Tet is called “Shad-ai”; therefore, Mem-Tet is the numerical value of 314.  The entire scroll of Esther was said with Ruach HaKodesh [lit. “the Holy Spirit,” a level of prophecy].  If a single letter is missing from the scroll, it is invalid.  However, if a letter is skipped over, the scroll is not invalid. For Antiochus is the numerical value of Yosef.  Achashverosh is the numerical value of Rebbe Nachman. “ACHASHVEROSH” WITH TWO VAV’S [אחשורוש] IS EXACTLY 821, EXACTLY “RABBEINU NACHMAN BEN SIMCHA,” BECAUSE ONLY RABBEINU CAN SUBDUE ACHASHVEROSH. ONLY RABBEINU, WHO APPEARED 200 YEARS AGO, CAN SUBDUE ACHASHVEROSH.
